I have been making soft body dolls for almost 20 years now. I have made Raggedy Annes, baby dolls, fashion dolls and boudoir dolls, you name it and I have probably made them. My favorite part of the process was designing and making their clothes. I try to use recycled material for their clothes. I shop a lot at htrift shops. At the begining of this year I discovered primitives and fell in love with them. I love their simpicity and grungyness (is that a word?) Over the past several months I have been obsessed with making these darling dolls. I use patterns designed by my favorite doll designers and am always on the lookout for new and unique designs. While I may make several dolls from one pattern they in themselves are OOAK. My dolls carry within them the love and energy I have used to create them. Grab a cup of tea and enjoy!
