Ravelry is a knit and crochet community. I have been a member of Ravelry for almost a year. At first, I didn’t use the site much but once I realized some of the features to it, Ravelry has grown into one of my favorite sites to visit on a regular basis (along with FreeCraftFair.com of course). Yarnbombing

Hundreds of knitters around the world have begun wrapping their huge woolly creations around public property like trees, street signs and lampposts.
They then take photos of their colourful “art” and post them on internet sites for fellow knitters to view and comment on.
One of the most ambitious pieces of work saw a woman spend an entire week covering a disused single decker bus in colourful swatches.
The phenomenon, called Yarnbombing, is thought to have originated in the US but knitters are now beginning to cover British streets in woollen ‘tags’.

Well, my “real” job is in the medical field, something I’ve been doing for nearly 20 years now. But I’ve always been a creative person, as far back as I can remember. I was the kid that saved all our popsicle sticks and made stuff out of them. The sticky sweet colors just made them that much better, in my opinion!
My first craft passion was cross stitch. I did that for many years, for friends & family until a neck surgery and the resulting nerve damage put a stop to it, sadly. It’s hard to hold a needle when your hands go numb.
