Hi Rhonda, please tell us a little bit about yourself and your shop?
I am a mother of four amazing sons and a wife of a great man. I love to make things with my hands. I have been creating all my life. My Grandmother taught me how to crochet, knit and paint (china) when I was around 5 years old. I spent hours watching her beautiful hands create one amazing treasure after another. She gave to me the desire to learn new things and to always make my world a better place by creating beautiful things to surround myself and others with.
My shop is a reflection of me, I sell what I love to make. I have a wide range of hand knit and crocheted items for women of all ages. I also sell items that I have sewn, and I love working with beautiful fabrics. I have some of my paintings (no painted China, since I have not painted any since my Grandmother passed away). I enjoy working with many different textiles yarns, paints, fabrics, papers, and just about anything I can get my hands on. So you never know what new item will show up in my shop next!!
Where can we find your work?
I have always sold my creations by word of mouth but just recently I have started selling online. I have a shop on Etsy and Zibbet, I am also working on making a blog for myself. I am also active on facebook and google +.

Can you describe your creative process?
Creating beautiful things has always been a part of me. If I am not creating something to sell, then I am creating just to please myself. I love to work with yarns knitting and crocheting are my first loves. I also love sewing and creating items with different fabrics. I really enjoy working with just about anything I can get my hands on. One example: I used grape vines from my garden, dried them and hung them on my kitchen wall in the form of a large, artistic tree. My mind is always coming up with new ideas.
Apart from creating hand knits and crocheted items, what do you enjoy doing?
I also love to read, study, garden, cook, travel, and playing the violin. I find that gardening and cooking are also creative outlets. When I get to busy with my regular life and I can’t sew or knit I am always thankful that I can make dinner and use my creative talents in the kitchen.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I believe most artist feel the same way I do, that creating is just who you are. I am a person who is unable to stop the creative process. Whether I am in the kitchen, back yard, writing, decorating, sewing, or knitting my mind is always coming up with new ideas to make my world and the world around me a more beautiful place to live in!!
